Dr. Oz has a video on equine programs on his show…more and more are recognizing the value of working with the horse! He lists equine therapy as one of the top 2 alternative treatments…along with bee stings! Think we’ll stick with the horses!

The difference between being a mother and being the best mother one can be: to qualify to be a mother, you simply have to be born a female! To be the best mother you can be, you first need to be mentally balanced between alpha and tyrant, with the emphasis on alpha. Then you need to be physically balanced; with stick in one hand and carrot in the other, your child controls the two (the picture). As always, its about pressure-according to your interpretation of the world that you live in! Happy Mothers Day all you moms!

Snow 2010

What a beautiful morning! We had a good bit of snow (for us anyway) and had a great time hitching up the babies to pull the sled! Now if we could just use the cart to get around town, we wouldn’t have to worry about gas/diesel prices! Heather had fun with the whole thing…

Winston wasn’t too sure about the actual sled…and Phoebe was her same funny little self as always!

Now we’ll just have to hope that everything doesn’t ice over tonight…

SCHC Expo

We’re driving back up from Florida just talking about the weekend. Thanks so much to everyone who came out to the South Carolina Horsemans Council Expo on Saturday~ It was a nasty day but heartwarming to see all of the horse support! Bruce was thrilled with the participation and the feedback after his demos. Special thanks to Roxy and JW for letting Zack “show his stuff” in the trailer loading demo- he couldn’t have been a more perfect demo horse! Also, thank you to all of the clients who came out to support us- you guys are the best!

Also, I’m adding a category for client stories on the blog~ If you have any excitement that you want to share, please feel free to do so! Hopefully the new category will make that easier~

What a long time off from blogging! Sorry to have been away but hope all is well with your ponies! We have had so much cold weather, we’re just waiting for summer! Finally finished putting together our video footage in DVD format, so now writing the script for the companion book…
